Wow ... no stroker guys, huh? You guys are probably just sick of me ... :(

Well here is mine, even though I haven't even ordered it yet ...

- Economy 331 short block from M&R engines
- Main cap girdle/windage tray
- Professionally ported World Products Windsor Senior heads (used)
- Comp Cams XE274HR or XE282HR
- Harland 1.6" 3/8 stud rockers (used)
- Pro Products Typhoon intake (used)
- MAC long tubes (used, Jet-Hot coated)
- 30# injectors

As you might guess, it is an extremely budget minded combo. I am praying that the heads don't limit it too much. But I'm really trying to select a good cam so that down the road a few years I can swap the heads and be golden.

If I had the money, I'd get a matched custom cam and heads from either Ed Curtis or Jay Allen, and a better intake.

Drove it to work this morning. I haven't driven it hard yet but turned onto a highway in 2nd gear and punched it. Started spinning rear wheels up to 4500 RPMs. Its got a lot of power. Taking it to the track tomorrow night. Bolting some nitto DRs on and seeing what she runs.

Heres my n/a pump gas 11:1 347 streeter:

Twisted wedge heads milled to 55cc chambers with FTI ps3 springs set to the proper installed height.
Trickflow R intake
FTI cam (3200-6400 rpm powerband
1 3/4" longtubes with 2.5" exh (needs 3")
75mm tb, 30's and 80mm pro m
Stock block 0 deck, all oil holes chamfered, scat cast steel crank, probe ultra light I beam rods with 7/16" cap screws (they're a light weight high rpm n/a rod) probe pistons. Assembly baanced to 28oz with a fidanza SFI aluminum flywheel and a romac light weight balancer.

I am hoping to get updated track times since my 4.30 gear swap. I just sold my lentech aod I was going to swap in, now I'm waiting on my tremec. Then put it all back in with a slick and see what happens. Should trap around 120. It NEEDS weight reduction, its WAY too heavy @ 3,220 with driver.

Changes i'd make: Head work or victor jr heads, 90mm tb, 3" exhaust and 7/16" rocker studs with titanuim retainers.

The 90mm TB won't gain you anything. It would look bigger though...the 75mm TB flows a considerable amount more than your 347 even thinks about...so the 90mm TB has nothing to be gained. Just look at the cfm ratings on accufab's website. The tale of the tape.

BlackVert - For the budget your on, I think your on the right path. I personally would choose Ed Curtis for custom cam, but I'm bias. Good Luck!

I'm sure I could trap 120mph if I took enough weight off my car...lol.

not n/a, but the only thing i would change is the compression if i did go n/a.....
