331 with GT40 tubular

Hello,

anyone with a tubular gt40 intake on a n/a 331/347 ?
What numbers are you make with your combo? My torque is fine but my hp´s are a little low. I think the flow through that intake is not big enough for a stroker.
I know that other intakes make more hp @ higher rpms but my own red line is @ 6000 rpm and i don´t like to lost low end torque.
Any suggestion?
My dyno results:

370 fwhp@4700
420 ft-lb@4500

Seems u might benefit from a Eddy 2 or one that flows up top really well. Those seem like really good #'s for a n/a car though.

I'm guessing you meant rwhp, not fwhp.

The gt40 intake usually is pretty good.

You may be running into some restriction with the 75mm meter and 65mm TB.
I don't remember the opening on a real gt40 intake, if it's 65mm, i guess you are stuck there.
