right now i have a 347 with a paxton blower (carb) and i use the twisted wedge trick flows heads but want to go with some AFRs. I have been looking into the 185cc and the 205cc. If anyone has used the 205 on a 347 i would like to know how much if any low end powerloss? It is a street and strip car.

205's with a custom cam. 185's will work nice too, but I say go big and make big power

i use it for both street and strip. i dont want to go to a huge because i do drive it on the street with a 4 speed. but that is my other deal with the clutch and finding one that will hold. i am having one built for me right now so i am hopeing this will work.

Since you are boosting the intake charge I would go with the larger 205's.
The engines predicated nature to pre-detonate the mix will be alleviated more with a larger port head. :Word:

U could have the TW Stage 3 ported that will flow as well as or better than the AFR 205's. Look at Fox Lake, Panhandle Performance or Bennett Racing for the TW Stage 3 port rates. These r awesome heads and u already have them. The AFR 205's r great heads also as well as the TFS R, TFS Hi-Port, Victor Jr, Canfield or Dart.

347 stroker w/ AFR 185 ported heads, ported Downs lower, Comp Cam XE282HR, 30lbers, 10.3:1 comp, 93 octane, 400/400 @ the RW NA, daily driver.

Same 347 stroker now with flycut pistons to reduce comp ratio to 9.75:1, Dart Windsor Sr ported heads, same cam and intake and 15 lbs from a S-trim, 611rwhp and 630rwtq on C116 race gas.

I would have the TW Stage 3 ported, Comp Cam XE282HR, and it will be very streetable.
