347 Balancer Problem.

Hey Guys,

My auto teacher is building a 347 stroker for a buddy of his but he's having a problem.He has the motor set up for a 28 oz. balencer,flywheel etc. and the crank machined for it.But when the bottom end is in the block the crank pulley doesn't line up with the water pump pulley he says that the water pump pulley is about 2 ribs in-front of the crank pulley what can he do to cure this?

Either buy the correct balancer, or see if the brand he has offers spacers. I know Professional Products has a variety of lengths that go with their balancers.

Yep same issue us 351w guys have. Its an easy fix with a spacer on the ballancer then mount the pulley.
