Flat top pistons with 4 valve reliefs mean that they can be installed in either orientation or side in the engine. Some pistons, domed pistons for example, can only be installed in one orientation. That's what the "4 valve reliefs" in the description means.
A affordable four valve head for a Windsor block would be great. Unfortunately, your answer is the right one.

I don't remember seeing any dyno results either. I remembered seeing some of these articles way back when, but never heard much more about them or seen any anywhere. It would be kinda cool though. I'm sure some jaws would drop.You found it. I do not know how many of these heads, if any, made it into production. An article or two like this is all I remember seeing from around then. A build and dyno test article was what I was hoping for before most of the car magazines got the axe.
