347 dyno numbers low?

Actually, the engine burned a quart in about 1000 miles. Im putting the new flywheel and balancer in on monday. It shouldnt shake then and should be fine. If it continues to burn oil after 5k miles I will probably pull the engine back out and rebuild it. If it continues to shake, should I have the engine internally balanced? Would I have to rebuild anything? Thanks.

well, even after you swap the balancer/flywheel.
if it is that far out of wack. you can still cause major damage.
bending or warping rods, crank etc

im no engine expert. but id think it would be possible.
and overall engine life wouldnt be as long i dont think

Well I guess I will have to wait and see what it does after I put the new parts on. I think it should be good afterwards. I let you guys know the outcome on Tuesday. Thanks.

That doesn't sound too good.. And by running your car with improper flywheel, you're RUINING your enginebearings, accellerating premature engine failure.
