So the engine builder - McKeown Motorsport Engineering, Inc. - said my new 5.0/347 stroker would be ready this past Saturday!! I went down for the engine break-in and dyno.

Then I got some help on the installation Sunday!!

Here's the specs:

347 cubic inch 302 based engine
400+fwhp @6000rpm

Engine to include:
5.0 roller block
MME 347 stroker rotating assembly
Dart Pro 1 heads
MME custom hydraulic roller cam
Comp cams hydraulic roller lifters
Comp cams retainer kit
Comp cams roller timing set
Comp HD push rods
Melling blueprinted oil pump
HD Oil pump shaft
Complete engine gasket set
Main Bolts
Head studs 12pt
Head hat washers
Edelbrock Air gap manifold
Comp or equal roller rockers
Std rotation timing cover (new)
Std rotation high flow water pump
Cast alum valve covers
HD harmonic balancer
MSD distributor
Wire set
Engine fastener kit
Billet steel flywheel Drilled for three finger or diaphram
Full CNC block machining
Digital balancing
Engine fully blueprinted
Engine fully assembled
Engine dynoed with MME carb and distributor (customer invited to be presesnt)

Parts supplied by owner
Canton oil pan, pick-up,windage tray and gasket
RetroTek EFI system including ECU, pump, MSD 6AL and coil.

As Bill Murray would say... "It's in the hole!".
Now that really looks sweat. Beautiful job on the engine bay too.
Will be great to hear a "first drive" report.

Thanks, I'm hoping to have it running by the end of the month. I'm putting on the RetroTek EFI, an Electric fan, and an MSD-6AL box, so I have a lot of wiring to do.
