347 stroker

im stroking my mustang i've decided to a 347. Whats the best kit?

would aluminum heads be good for a 347 stroker?

Aluminum heads would be strongly recommended

After alot of checking, I went with a Coast High Performance kit. they use a slightly shorter rod to keep the piston pin out of the oil ring area, so the engine doesnt use oil and smoke, which is a concern with alot of 347 kits.

that's OLD info. most, if not all, stroker makers have adressed this problem to my knowledge

While this may be OLD information to you, Im sure that some people are not aware of it. And just so you know, not everybody has change their kits(Eagle,Speedomotive,FMS) to name a few

Im thinkin about doing a 331, and my friend whom Im asking questions about the stroker (he knows his stuff) keeps telling me to go witha 347. Im just worried about the past oil issues and it bieng to much of a stroke for the 302
