My engine builder just called and my 347 is ready! I cant wait to get started on all of this but I need some advise from other how have done the t56 swap. After having the transmission sitting under my workbench for almost 3 years it is now time to install it and it is unfortunatly set up for the older style bellhousing. I know the newer style would allow for a cable or even better Hyd. set up but i am stuck with the older style and wonder who here might have done a hyd. throw up bearing or something similar? This project has been dragging for 3 years since I opened my business but I finally have the time and hired help to get her finished. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I did the hyd TO bearing when I put in my 6 speed. I used a self adjusting, bolt on hyd TO bearing from Mcleod industries. You will need to make a pedal stop when using a hyd TO bearing to prevent blowing the piston seal in the bearing assembly. The other trick is to get the clutch master cylinder to mount as high up as possible for leverage
