im thinking about buying a 351 short block that was rebuild and bored .30 over. if i do i will be buying this:
Carburetor, Manifold Combo, Offenhauser Manifold/750 cfm Holley Carburetor, Ford, 351W, Kit

My question is what kinda cam/heads you think i should go? also am i even going to get 300HP out of this motor?

For accurate advice, what is the motor going to be used for? Strip, street/strip, daily driver, weekend warrior? All 4 of these venues will warrant different combos somewhat

honestly it will just be driven a few times a week. but if someone wants to run em, i want to be able to beat them.

It's all up to your camshaft, if you get a cam suited for you final goals you can pull 400HP out of that motor with a set of old Dart iron heads at 9:1 compression. The cam is the heart of your motor, choose wisely.
