What kind of bottom end combinations are you running and how high you spin them?
At which rpm they exploded?
That is the main idea.
I´m interested cause I´m running fairky stock -69, with stock rods and "some"-pistons. In near future I´m planning to up-grade with KB-hypereutectic pistons and "truck"-connecting rods. The rods I bought from Ville with very reasonable price.
The question is, are they worth installing, considering aiming at 6000+ rpm, not over 6500. I need to balance the assembly, but should I step up to some 500$ H-beams, if I´m sticking with stock crank? I´d like the bottom end to be ready also for AFR type combo, in the near future.
