Ok well its that year again. I live in Rhode Island. I have a 351 Bored and Stroked to a 383. Its Efi. I have no EGR and have no smog pump installed. No cats. How much of this crap do i have to put back on? Would just putting the cats with a tube to the air pump get me to pass? I would like to get some feedback from folks that actually run 351 based motors in their 94/95 mustang & have passed emissions. My current sticker expires in June. Do you think the Tweecer could help me put a "Emissions Passable Tune" on one of the banks? Ill be really happy when this car is 25+ years old and i can register it as a classic.

in MD, they only put it on the rollers and do a sniffer test. so if i can pass based on the readings, then i'm ok without the egr or smog pump

in RI, do they do a visual as well as a sniffer est?

In CT they don't even pop the hood anymore... I passed without EGR by taking a lot of timing out and disabling the EGR in the computer... Oh and I put my high flow cats back on...

Now I had dummied my EGR in case they looked but they didn't so ARGHHHH.... but yes with the TwEECer you should be able to make it pass... Pull the timing, take out the EGR, and run some Guaranteed to Pass...

I don't know what I'm going to do if I register my car here in GA. I don't even have tailpipes.

I'm in NC and we have a visual emission's test. I installed cats and air pump (cats will clog without air from pump, or so I'm told).

I have afr 185's, which may have air holes. Don't remember, I had a 5.0 air pump pipe widened to fit the heads. However, when running the 5.0 with GT40P heads, I simply bolted an air pipe to the heads to pass inspection.

NC passes the visual without EGR, so I installed fox 351w LT headers and went with the fox TB setup without EGR. I have the EGR plate, but there was not enough room to run the plate and keep the STB. I tweecer's out the EGR function. If EGR was required, I'd find a way to may look like it was installed, but have it deactivated.

As a side note, I was told that I did not have to have internals to the cats, and that having the shell was enough to pass. Of course, I can't gut them...but one day they may burn out on their own.

Yeah, well in addition to having turndowns, I have removed every emission control device on the car, so I'm screwed either way.

Yeah but my Mustang doesn't look too street legal....I think they'll wanna pop the hood just out of curiosity. Especially Seeing an10 Braided lines coming off the Sump on the gas tank and the fact that the car has a 6" cowl. I'm gonna see if my friends 4" cowl fits but i doubt it.

Hey man, you are only about 30 mins from me. You can borrow my high flow catted pipe if you want.... I know I had to tweak it to barely fit my car but it should also fit yours....
