Hi Im kind of new to the performance field what would be a good long tube header to put on my car? Im trying to turn it into a street performer not strip. I want to run it with an X-pipe and 2.5" pipes, but i don't know any good headers for it. Its a 69 Mach 1 351 Windsor with 4v Holley.
I'm running JBA shorty headers on my 351W with no issues. They seem to be a good quality company. Make sure the header flanges are at least 3/8" thick or they will warp and leak. I have been looking for a long tube header and found a company called Custom Performance Racing, www.cprparts.com and they have a good selection of headers. I haven't bought from them yet.
