I'm up for a different approach other than making a 4.6 fast with oodles of money, when a bored/stroked 351 with less money can do the same if you know what you're doing.

I'm looking for a site, w/ pictures, forums, how-tos you name it to install a SB ford motor into a 99+ newer mustang. My mechanic who builds racing engines, chassis etc..can do this swap no problem, he just told me to look on forums to see what others have done this conversion, so i personally can see what has to be done and know what to expect.

If anything is availible and you guys know..could you send the info my way, that would be great.

Thanks again,
Cory J.

As bc said if you plan on registering it to drive on the street checkout your local smog laws. In CA for instance you couldn't register it for the street. If your making a track only car go for it and post lost of pics.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your only real issue is the K-member. I think M&M and others sell K-members that allow you to bolt a 5.0 into a 99+ stang. The windsor will bolt right up to one of those. Once you have that you'll need all of the usual accessories ( heads, intake, alternator, etc....) for your windsor.

I live in FL, no prob to switch over. The motor that is going in there is completely new ford racing 4bolt 351 block, bored .30 and a 4.125 stroke making that a 428 guessin...along with fully ported Edelbrock/Billy Glidden heads,(flow #s are 391cfm) good H beams, Venolia/JE/SRP/Diamond...etc whatever pistons. With a dominator carb or so, its supposed to make 680-700hp on the motor on 93 octane.

About the Kmember, i don't mind buying another one, which i'll do anyway and just sell the stuff i have on my car.

Anybody know some prices of 40,000k mile Windsor PI heads/cams/ , about a 100 miles on the new C&L plenum, C&L MAS 80mm kit, and MAC LTs.

Thanks,
Cory J.
