alright so im searching for a 351 cleveland engine to install into my 92 fox mustang problem is i cant find the block casting number in the damn thing ive looked at the heads and the passenger side head has m casting on it the it looks like a cleveland engine with the exception of the heads any help would be appreciated

Well, the Cleveland heads are what makes a Cleveland a Cleveland. Be careful you're not looking at a 351M, while they can produce power, they require 460 transmission and motor mounts. Have you looked above the starter?

The 351C block casting number hides behind the starter. Look there for it.

351C has a 9.2" deck height. If you can't find the casting number, that will give you a positive ID.

alrighty guys thanks the block appears to be a clev block has small block bellhousing patterns and has a manual trans behind it i look up the casting numbers to be sure though thanks
