351w belt question

Well I am finishing up my swap and got to the installing of the belt, I took the belt off at 351 that I got the bracket for the ac and powet steering pump as everything else I had already so didn't need it. Well I went to put it on and now its way too short.. It will barely reach the alternator even with the tensioner all the way up. Does anyone have a belt diagram for a 351 or is it the same as the 5.0 like I thought, and I have a different problem? Thanks

same as 302...

But you will need a longer belt because the 351w is taller/wider

Ya but the belt I got was off a 351. I grabbed it cause it is pretty much a brand new belt, no cracks, tears nothing so I wouldn't have to buy one

If any of the accessories are different, or any of the pulleys are different diameters, then the belt won't fit...

You need to get a new one that is the right length.
