ive heard people say mixed answers on when they changed the deck height changed is there any casting marks that would say the deck height the casting mark is D2AE-6015-BA-12

D2 specifies 1972 block.


The 69-70 351w had a 9.48 deck height. 71 and on are all 9.5

1969 was the only year where the deck height was less than 9.5" (C9 prefix)

Every other subsequent year were all the same after that.
