jnobles - the guy who sold you your pistons doesn't know what he's talking about. Peak lift has nothing to do with p to v clearance because the pistons are WAY down in the cylinder when the valves are open to peak. Larger valves than the reliefs, increased duration and/or more overlap and/or tighter LSA's are what will cause reduced clearance, not too much peak lift.
