Just gotta figure out how that would do for a street car.
The spyder will be just fine on a street car... assuming the heads and cam are appropriately matched...
Now they only have the Super Spyder which I wonder if it would be too big or not?
Where did you hear that the spyder was no longer in production?
I'm planning to run one in my 408w......
The thing is, with proper cam and head selection, the total package should work just fine.
What are you considering for heads and cam?

All I need to do is figure out which intake would be best for what I want.
Does Edelbrock make an Elbow so I don't have to buy a pos CHP product?![]()
Wonder how I could figure out if it would work short of buying the parts and sending them back if they don't fit.

found that and thought of this thread. Nothing wrong with the spider I'm sure, but thought I'd throw this out there.
I'm going with the TFS R long runner version myself...

I am wanting to fit the intake under a 1.5" hood. More than likely I would have to go with the 3847 (pic below) to fit under the hood. However it looks like it would have MAJOR issues with even airflow to the runners. HOWEVER I am going to be using the Zex nitrous plate so that will add 1"-1.5" to it. HmmmmWonder how I could figure out if it would work short of buying the parts and sending them back if they don't fit.

As always, a search would have been worth while...
Your options are truck intake, TF Box R, Performance Products AKA Edelbrock knock off, and Edelbrock. I think Holley has one too... You can go with a carb style EFI intake also...Spyder I think is the name...
