I read somewhere a discussion on shakers and someone was saying the performer rpm intake moved the carb back further in the engine compartment. Is this true? I know it is taller than stock. The problem I have is the shaker on my car seems to sit back 2-3" too far to come through the original hood. I don't have the original intake to compare. I am running a roller 351w block in a 69 mustang. I purchased a shaker from ford gt in au a few year ago. I think is for a 351c. I also heard the 351w shaker moves the shaker forward? Anyone have any knowlege on this issue??
