OK I am starting a 351 fox swap and I've seen before that you can use your 302 upper and just replace the lower.I have a TFS Track heat upper but I hav'nt actually seen a lower for a 351 that says it is for this upper but I did see the one at Summit that is for the R-Series upper has anyone used this will it bolt up or am I missing something?

Unless someone here has direct experience with this, I'd say you need to call Summit and ask. They have great tech support, and I believe they actually now own Trick Flow.

Yes, it is true that some intakes came with the same upper for both the 302 and 351 engines (the GT-40 is a good example), but I don't know that the 302-based Track Heat has a 351 counterpart.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

Doesn't that list #3886 as the 'base only'?

I'm pretty sure all of these guys (TrickFlow, Edelbrock, etc.) will sell just the lower you need.

Skip talking to Summit Tech line guys...
Call the company tech line directly....

good luck,
jason

Correct...

Victor Ford 5.8L (complete) #3887* Victor Ford 5.8L (base only) #3886*

Kit #3887 is for an upper and lower.
Kit #3886 is for the lower/base only.

Unless I'm reading it wrong...
