Is this true I thought a special lifter was required? Thanks

However to use a stock lifter bar and stock lifter you need to run a SMALL BASE CIRCLE cam (not the stock cam) To run a STOCK cam you need to buy the linked bar lifters, which IMO is a better way to go.
