Ok first off I have a pushrod length checker but it'll be the first time using one. i'm just trying to get an idea of what size length to start at.
The engine consists of a stock deck 351, hydraulic roller lifters, GT40 virgin heads , .040" compressed head gasket thickness. I know all those are major factors in length needed.
Can anyone give me any ideas or pointers on checking pushrod length? I know its best to mark the valve stem tip with a black marker first.
