I've used this site to get much info but this is my first post. I have read all the recent posts and searched but still have unanswered questions.
Please help.
I'm putting a 351w in my 65fb, Do I need to change to the 66 style mounts at the frame? (between the rubber mount and the frame).
I remember reading this somewhere in the past (hooker catalog?).
Second question: I am running a non-air gap RPM on the 351w and had a shelby hood on the 289, will the 351w fit under this hood? if so what air cleaner works. The car is going out to paint soon and I need to send the right hood.
I appreciate all the help but please respond only if you know for a fact or have done this swap yourself.
