Hey guys, i recently found a suitable 94 gt that i'm about to buy. My friend has a later model 351W short block waiting for me. I was wondering what kind of mods would i need to drop that motor in? I've heard that i would need a new bell housing and possibly a stiffer k member? Anyone who is running a 351W PLEASE POST! Thanx guys!

You need different headers, lower intake, and distibutor. And more than likely a cowl hood. The front accessories/timing cover/WP can all be reused. You can use the stock k-member. The stock transmission/bellhousing can be reused, but it's not a good idea. I've allready broke one T-5 with my 418 :).

If it's a hyd roller block, you can use standard lifters. If it's an older block, you will need to use the $400+ hyd roller conversion lifters.

You can use 5.0 heads, but they will need to be drilled to use 1/2" head studs. I know the AFR 205's and 225's are made to use 1/2" studs.

That's all I can think of right now...

Also, you might want to search because this topic has been discussed several times allready. ;)
