i want to build a 351w and push it to 700hp. i have a 72 block and im planing on putting h beams with dished pistons, i also want to convert it to a roller cam and use ported stock heads for now with head studs and my turbo kit for my 5.0 will the stock pistons and crank hold up i heard that they are stronger than the blocks but i want to make sure before i build this motor

i left out upgrading the valve springs because its just common sense to upgrade them with a bigger cam

Stock pistons- or dished ? How much boost ?

If I could do it all again, I would build a 393 stroker....just needs stroker crank...stock length rods...302 pistons and add boost from there.

Ok. What stock heads do you have? Force feed enough boost to it and you will reach the goal.
