What dealer did you guys from the Detroit or Cleveland Area go to get the 3650 TSB done? I'm looking to take my car in before I put it in storage for the winter. I just want to know the dealers who fixed your car without hassle. I hate dealers that try to deny every warranty claim.

Thanks

Hey Moss. What's up? Having problems with the tranny? What dealer did you buy it from? I've got a connection at Bob Thibedau in Warren from a guy I work with. They used to work together at Bob Maxey. Let me know what you want done and I'll let him know.

Yep, I've been a victim of the old "1-2 grind when cold" over the past winter.

I got the car from Hines Park (they got the car from a dealer in Indy).

I haven't taken it in because it doesn't happen in the summer and the winter it's in storage and I would put it off.

I think I'm going to try to take it in on the first cold day of the year and then when they fix it, it's going in the garage for the winter.

Thanks for the offer. I will probably need it. Dealers always like to say "it's a normal problem" or accuse you of "abuse due to racing" and I don't want to go through that headache. All it takes is for one dealer to put abuse into the Ford OASIS report on your car, and then every dealer after that will try to not fix it after they look at the report written by the previous dealer. And I wouldn't have the time to fight and appeal things.

It'll probably be around November before I take the car in so I might holler at you then.

Thanks

No problem just let me know so I can have my buddy here at work give him a yell at let him know you're going there. I'm almost positive he's the Head Service write up guy and the asst. Service mgr. I know my buddys known him for a long time and he said he'll take care of you. :nice:

I need an alignment on mine and I'm going to take it back to Russ Milne next week since I bought it from them. While I'm there I'm going to talk to the service manager and see how they handle warranty issues when it comes to modded cars and how crazy I can go before they'll pull the Warranty plug on me. I'm not sure what they'll allow and who knows, I might have done myself in already with the rear axle swap. If that's the case, I'm going to cancel my $1,8?? 7 year extended warranty, say F it and do some more over the Winter while it's put away. I'll only be driving the 'stang from April to the end of Oct., so it's not like I'm going to be putting that many miles on her. $1,800 Hmmm let's see. I could do almost everything on my wish list with that $. :D C-Ya. Jay
