Is it possible to put an FE block 390/428 into a fox body? if so where do you look for that?

It is possible, but worth it? No.

Very true.

If you wanted to go with a big block just go with a 460. Swap parts are a lot easier to get as are performance parts. The performance parts are out there for the FE motors but the prices are driven up by collectors, restorers and vintage hot rodders that will pay top dollar for original performance parts.

If you are going for a big block go for 460 or a stroker 351. The FE is awesome but the prices of parts and availability is a pain.

see how much it would cost to do both?? but i would much rather bult a sweet 351 stroker, the only thing it would be good for is strip use. because the weight in the front end would be huge wouldn't corner very well and daily drivability would suck...

daily driver would suck, but i can still corner in my car, i don't know where everyone is getting the "its so heavy and can't corner" mind you i can't do well on a road race course, but it still corners very nicely. Stopping feels wierd, like having a fat kid on your hood .
