Hi, I do all my own work, so I son't know for sure how much a shop would charge to install the gears... but I've been told around $250-$300.

From what I understand, the FRPP gears are made by Ford and cut the same way as the stock ones, so 99% of the time you don't have to mess with the shims, which would make it 1000 times easier. (I'll let ya know for sure on that cause I am installing FRPP 4.10's myself either this coming weekend or the next)

Hope I've been of some help!

gefracing.com 4.10 gears $139 I would buy the $80 install kit too. Why take a chance on screwing up the gears. Do it right the first time it may save you headaches in the future.
