4.6 2v intake manifold extended coverage !!!

I called the golley ford in glendora,CA they say my 2001 mustang extended warranty expired. the start date was oct. of 2000. there goes 800 bucks

A brand new intake can be had from Ebay for <$200 shipped. And with a few basic tools, you can replace it yourself in an hour or two.

WHOA!!!! do not spend that amount of money. You can go on Ebay and find a complete unit with brackets and thermostat for $189.99. shipped free. I recently bought a "Ford Racing" Manifold from Toulsey Ford Parts
Tousley Ford Parts Depot Their unit is less, but you have to buy intake manifold gasket, thermostat and bracket and works out to be same as Ebay unit. They have great prices and service. As far as installation, it is a bit
tedious, but not complicated. I am sure that once you get all the parts in it can be done in under 6 hours. DIY
