4.6 3v vs. 2v and 4v

99 was the problem year for the cobras though, right? didn't they have some kind of recall cause the power wasnt good enough? new model bugs and whatnot.

'99 they had a problem with the Cobras putting out less than rated HP so SVT/Ford offered to replace the intake manifold on every single Cobra made that year.

4 valve motors respond very well to mods, they breath better than 2v motors (obviously) so if you can get more air into and out of the engine, it'll give more power. I think the 4v motors will remain top offerings for a while yet.

the new 3 v is supposed to be a lighter engine, but maybe the car is heavier.
