I am noticing that a couple of you with 3.73's or 4.10's are still getting decent highway mileage. I am curious, because I have sort of dismissed gears as a mod, since I drive an all-highway, 1 hour round-trip daily commute and I like my near-27 mpg from the stock 3.27's. If I knew my gas mileage wouldn't be affected, I would probably put some steeper cogs in the rear.
Could it be that this engine is more efficient at higher rpm's and thus a more aggressive rear gear does not affect mileage that much?
