When I drove it everyday, I would get 19-20 mpg in town. Now. thats little or no high rpm revving and no a/c. With a/c 18-19mpg. On the highway, I got 26mpg on a long trip once.

usually right around 18mpg 100% city, little spirited driving and no AC. Density altitude is usually between 4500 and 5000ft

I've never got below 22+ average on a tank. (no matter how spirited the driving)

<<< very "spirited" driver

Have gotten as much as 29 mpg on the interstate.

Yall suck!!! I think the most I've squeezed out of mine is 209 on a full tank. Then agian I just got her about 2 1/2 months ago, so I'm still havin fun most of the time. I'll have to drive her like a granny and see what I can get.

By the way how big is the tank?

I am noticing that a couple of you with 3.73's or 4.10's are still getting decent highway mileage. I am curious, because I have sort of dismissed gears as a mod, since I drive an all-highway, 1 hour round-trip daily commute and I like my near-27 mpg from the stock 3.27's. If I knew my gas mileage wouldn't be affected, I would probably put some steeper cogs in the rear.

Could it be that this engine is more efficient at higher rpm's and thus a more aggressive rear gear does not affect mileage that much?
