O man you might have to go to another site for that one. PM Jadesville he'll give you a link to another site and they explain everything in the swap, from how long it took, to what they had to make themselve, etc... I know you have to change the K-member,computer, and wiring harness.

MM&FF had a guy do this. It was the issue with the orange blue flamed cobra on the cover. Might want to check into that as well.

I am going with the sohc , I think that the dohc engine would have been more of a project than I wanted to tackle . With the sohc the computer , and harness will stay the same with only minor mods . The upgrades I have already done will transfer over , TB. MA. ect . this would not have been the case with the dohc engine . I feel like the money I saved in parts for the dohc will buy me enough mods to get the same type of numbers out of the sohc .

i've seen them on karkraft.com and ebay; i believe most people who do the 5.4 swap do the 32v navigator as far as i know..

Are you planning on getting a Roots, or Twin Screw blower? I have that same article at home. If I remember correctly, the 5.4L Truck engines makes allot of low range TQ and not enough in the upper RPM Range. If I remember correctly Peak TQ occured below 2000 RPM. Are you going to use your 4.6L Intake Maniflod? If so, I believe the 4.6L Intake Manifold will smooth out the TQ curve allot.

I was interested in doing the same Swap. I will research my old magazines and post more acurate information.

actually they only needed to remove some of the hood bracing and it fit under the stock hood.

If you can your cams wouldn't it help make the 5.4 at top end. I personally like cams mid to high. I don't like all the power at a low rpm.
