I have replaced the thermostat twice and still over cooling. Using my scanner i can watch the temp climb to around 165* and then it drops a couple degrees which tells me the thermostat is opening i assume. From there it slowly rises to a max of about 174* and will not get any hotter from there. The temp needle gauge only goes to about halfway from C to straight up and holds there. So i have no doubt the scanner is pretty close to accurate.
Replaced the thermostat with a 195* thermo, made no difference. Replaced it again just in case, same results.
What gives here? Im afraid its not going into closed loop mode since its running cold. Not to mention other problems. The temp outside is about 30* now but it wasnt much better in warmer climate.
