I've hread that somewhere someplace sells te 4lug spacer that turns into 5-lug bolt pattern. I know this probably not the way to go about things. but i can't afford both the 5lug conversion and new rims and tires and I thought this would be a solution to my problem for the time being. I digress does anybody know where I can pick up a set of these?

it will take a lot of looking but u can go five lug 4 wheel disk for less than 700 thats with rims and tires :nice:

If you ran a business and offered such a deal with a quality product, at a good profit, you would be a rich man.You will get what you pay for and for 700 you will not get all that and nice rims and tires maybe steel rims with hubcaps and cheap tires. Show me that deal. Not flaming but you can't let anyone think they can do that for $700.

Please. My bro bought a near mint set of used 5 lug bullit wheels with good tires for $400 and change. These are NICE wheels, not steel with hub caps.

We bought two rear 5 lug aerostar axles from the local junkyard at $23 a piece, the brake booster and master cylinder for $100, the front 94/95 sn95 spindles WITH rotors for about $125 from another yard. We are doing this conversion the right way. Add up those #'s, it's looking at $700 give or take, and that's doing it the right way. (sn95 rear discs to come at a later date)

I don't think he mentioned anything about finding it from a business.

I put my Cobra 13"/SVO 11.35" disk conversion together for $550 and traded my pony rims for a set of Cobra rims :)

I have heard about those spacers you are referring to. WHat they fail to mention is they are pretty thick. At least 1.5". You would run into some serious offset issues if you used them. None of the Sn95 wheels would really work.

What I dont understand is if money is tight on mods ... why would you want to do a 5-lug upgrade? Either do it the right way with the sn95 parts and then get some nice wheels and tires or just maybe get some nice 4-lugs... there are pleanty good ones out there!!!

damn if you come across a anoter set of bulitt's for 400 let me know i've never seen them that cheap

I've seen more than one of those sets for $400-$500 over here in cali. Cali seems to be land of the cheap parts. I considered using the same wheels myself, but my bro beat me to the punch, and it would probably look gay if we built up twin mustangs. oh well :(

djk heres what i got going i bought a 90lx 5.o its getting a full stalkerkit repainted tangello from house of colors and i'm completly redoing that porno red interior. You could always postpone doing the body kit and paint for a year and save up some money. Patience is the key when it comes to cars.
