428 CJ in a fox body?

in 1998 at the WFC there was a guy with a 428 CJ in a red Mustang, does anyone know his name, or does anyone have any information on how hard it would be to get a FE engine in the fox body stang? I have a buddy trying to do this and everyone keeps telling him it would require major cutting of the firewall and front inner fenders............I think that is total BS and have installed a 460 in a 1979 coupe without any cutting at all. HELP!

I dont know about that guy. I saw a white LX with a 428 in it. He did not have to hack up the inner fenders or anything.

I know with most GM's like the Firebirds and such nothing bigger than a 350 based motor will fit.... without cutting up the inner fender wells.

Like you cant drop a 427 in a 89 Firebird without some serious metal fabfication.

Our cars on the other hand are good for stuff like that.
