460 into 80 Cobra questions
I am putting a 460 into my 1980 cobra. I realize this is nothing new, but I am also suprised at the lack of info on this out there on the web (google searches) A friend of mine did this so I am aware of some of the headaches involved but I am looking for more things to watch out for. I am also tryin to do this cheap as possible. I have the 460 and C6, I also have the mount plate rather then then motor mounts. I need to find some headers but they all seem way more expensive then they should be. My friend managed to use his brake power booster, but I have never ever seen anyone else fit it in there. I would like to know if anyone else got away with that. I need to know about the radiator, such as what kinda or use elecric fans and so on. I plan on using flaming river manual steering so I don't have to worry about power steering. What about my C6, do I need to have a short shaft or long shaft C6, and what about my driveshaft? Any advice or links would be appreciated.
Thanks
Myles
