Notice the heads arent even on yet, thats just the short block. It made it easier to get it. The fit wasnt too bad. I had to pull it out one time becasue the shifter lever on the trans was hitting the side of the tunnel. I used a ball peen hammer to massage the area in a little now she sits in there perfect. Its FMS pan and mounts

eh, dished pistons, i didn't trust them so i replaced mine, along with the rods, and upped the compression, but hey if its budget, its budget. I don't know if your gonna be able to get the heads on in the car, that back drivers head bolt you can't get to with the boosted in there (if you are running power brakes). My heads were already on it and the longblock was complete when i dropped mine in. I guess you could say my build was a little more extreme, but you'll still have fun roasting tires wherever you go. I added a bunch of stuff over the fall too, like electric water pump and other goodies :)

I opted for the KB pistons with 15cc dish for 10.4:1 compression

I've got an article with some random racefox running ported Dove IIIs making around 800hp.....that's on stock casting heads with good porting....pretty impressive. Aluminum heads would be great though...to make up for some of the added weight.
