460 swap questions

www.460ford.com thats all those guys to is swap the 385 series engine into anythign and everything..

haven't ever done a 460 swap into a fox.. have done one into a 67 cougar.. that was a wonderful experiance .. but i woudl say go talk to them.. or i know there was someone on here who did the swap.. and look for the thread.. i'm sure if you pm me he woudl be more the happy to help you out

to answer your questions.....

-Motor fits right n with swap mounts, oil pan and headers.

-I have the C6 in there, bolted right up to the stock AOD crossmember with the AOD tranny mount, and yes its at the correct angle. An AOD driveshaft was shortened 3" and had a C6 yoke put on.

-I used the all the 5.0 accessories, still have stock P/S, and ALT assembly with the belt tensioner, i fabbed up some brackets and it took some thinking but i have a full serpentine setup on the car.
