whoa there fellar, mine was cut in half and then ported and then welded back, its the extreme of extreme for stock intakes go, I had a gt40 once and compared them, not faster with either one, if you have a pick n pull locally go try to find a 5.0 exploder, and snag the intake, it will be around $50, much cheaper then porting and easier as well t-moss has intakes that flow about as well as explorer intakes. mine is the exception, its been ported by him and then again by me, the ports going from the upper to lower are square, instead of round. You really need to know the cam profiles and such because if you have something crazy with stock springs, something WILL go wrong trust me!!

flows right above a gt40 and it looks stock so you have the sleeper effect

Ok....so you're saying if I GO with the explorer intake than I DON'T need to port match the LIM, b/c I thought I still had to anyway.

man, the intakes are totaly different, you take out the intake completely to the heads, there will be no port-matching to fit the explorer intake, u simply bolt on and be done!!
