I am doing my 4cyl conversion. I have a 8cyl donor car. I am putting the crossmember back in this weekend, and was wondering if I should use the 4 or 8 cyl front springs and sway bar for any kind of weight transfer or lowering. The car is going to be a weekend warriror with a 408 in it. I will also be running sn95 spindles. Any suggestions?

I'd keep the 4 cyl springs all around. It won't lower it much (if at all) in the back, but it will in the front due to the heavier motor, plus they're softer than V8 springs so they help a bit with weight transfer. The V8 sway bar will stiffen up the ride some, especially if you grab a set of poly bushings and end links to go with it, so that you won't notice much (if any) difference in ride quality.
