4g ground for 3g alt

Does anyone have a good way to get to the ground from the fire wall to the engine? Mines currently from the ac bracket to the fender do to my inability to get at the bolt in the head (at least I believe its grounded to the head...cant see it)

That's where mine is and I assure you, that if the connections are clean and tight, it is OK.

Did you see my post about my surge problem? Put the factory coil back in and it quit. Is the coil bracket used as a ground for the housing of the coil?

One side of the coil needs a ground, so it is possible that the metal frame serves to provide a place to make a ground connection.

Hopefully that it. I'll take some sand paper to my beautiful paint and see whats up. Might be able to add it to the surge list.
