I'm installing my 2.3 A/c stuff on the 302 during the swap but my question is whether the lines and other hardware are the same. I know that I will have to get an A/C bracket, but other than that???? Anyone done this before?

If the compressor mounts on the drivers side, and up near the top of the engine , you should be OK.

I recommend that you do a parts search on AutoZone (www.autozone.com) or Advanced Auto Parts (www.advanceautoparts.com/) and check to see if the part numbers are the same. It's a free and easy way to be sure.

All the 2.3's I have had, the compressor is mounted below the alternator on the passenger side. I think the compressor is different as well but even if it did mount up, no way would the hoses even come close to reachng.
