I found someone that is offered an Eibach Pro-kit 2 inch drop for a 5.0 for 80 bucks. I've been wanting to lower my 4 banger for a while, will this work alright? I believe that the 2.3L is only about 50-100lbs lighter in the front, I dont really assume it will ride high in the front by just that little weight limit... a bare 302 carbed fox with drop springs dosent ride high in the front, so my loaded 2.3 should be fine in theory... right?

I assume it will be quite a bit stiffer because of the weight and spring rate, but will it sit pretty?

Should, most people I've heard of who're running 5.0 lowering springs on 2.3's say it rides level.

assuming a 400lb/in spring rate (typical), a difference of 200lbs is 1/2". I beleive the difference will be about 200 lbs, so it may stand up slightly from the way a 5.0 would sit.

i have eibach pro-kits on my 2.3 right now and it sits level.

its a drastic drop, anything around 2" will require caster camber plates. i currently do not have them and my stock "plates" are adjusted as far as they can go... that will all change this weekend with the tubular kmember, coilovers, and cc plates... hehehe.
