Don't think this has ever been posted, but here's a side by side of all three of the 5.0 emblem styles.

top is OEM 79=93
2nd down is '11-14
3rd down is '15+ in flat black
bottom one is a black version of 79-93

Not a big fan of the '11-14 emblem, but I like the '15+ emblem a lot.

In case you are wondering, I'm debating this

Vs this (emblem in correct spot of course)

I really like the newer black one, If I were to do it again, it would be that one.

What's the bottom one? I like that one the most. Looks better than the chrome that ours came with

The bottom one in the group of 4? That's just the stock 79=93 5.0 emblem in black.

The bottom pic is the new '15+ 5.0 emblem in flat black. I think I'm going to run this. A little subtle, yet modern touch

I like ours best. Unless it's swapped.

Mine is faded Chrome. I've left them since it has almost a black chrome look to it.

I think the old 5.0 looks better on the foxes. The new ones don't fit the car, too big and round for a little square car.

I actually think the newer 15+ emblems take a step back and resemble the fox emblem a lot. Take a look at the two bottom black emblems. If you look at where Ford squares off the "0" it's pretty close to the fox emblem. I think that's why I like it a lot. It's just a little bit of a modern spin on the original emblem.

the '11-14 version is too rounded and bubbly. Doesn't work at all IMHO

I could go either way right now. I'll take the beat up chrone ones off, clean up the paint, then temp stick them on and decide. I kinda wish I got the 79-93 originals in flat black instead though.

Going with black since my car is pretty damn black

Another pic for comparison.
