5.0 list (PLEASE ADD ON)

this is my list of things i already have or know i need to get for my 2.3 to 5.0 converstion:
engine
auto tran
driveshaft
alternator
break lines
breaks
computer
wiring harness
speedo (do i just switch the whole cluster of geuges or the mechanisum too?)
8.8 rear axle

if im missing anything please add on. the car is a 93 2.3 lx convertible the the engine, tran and driveshaft is out of a 92. all info is helpful

Get a whole new cluster. They can be had cheap.

If he has the double hump crossmember which came on t5 four bangers it will work.

The 5.oh suspension for the heavier engine. although I read they do use 4 cylinder springs to drag race. Exhaust do it while the engine is out.

Ya, they work to drag race, but they are horriffic on the street. I realize drag springs weren't mean to handle, but those springs make every day driving dangerous, at least IMO.
I used them for about 2 months then took them out.

im using the auto trans cuz that is wat came with the engine when i bought it. i only paid 275 for the engine, tran, drive shaft, and a couple other parts. for the suspension can i just change out the springs for 5.0 springs or do i have to change the entire suspension?
