What's the difference between the 4.6 281 cubes vs. 5.0 302 cubes?

SN's are nowhere near as bad as the foxes when it comes to rain and such becaues they are heavier. Last night I got caught in the rain with my "new" 88 GT and I was reminded of how much of a handfull they can be in the rain especially when compared to my truck. The stock contol arms and such are so flimsy that once you do start to lose control it's more difficult to regain control. IMO, UCA's and LCA's aftermarket replacements is a safety issue as much as performance.
Either way, if you get this car be extra carefull in slippery conditions.

I think I remember reading a long time ago that this problem was fixed in the later foxes (i.e 92-93). I've been driving for 4 years and my car has never fishtailed or oversteered in the rain.![]()

What does SN stand for?
The fox body suspension is so predictable that one can induce the oversteer at will.![]()
SN-95
Hense your sig pic?

sn-95 is the name of the chassis of 94-98 mustang.
Not sure what the point of those pictures are other than to prove people get in car accidents. I am not arguing that mustangs in the rain arent dangerous, I have had close calls myself in the rain, but I dont think young people and v8's=crash.

:fairyfight::stirpot:I don't see how a fox can be that bad in the rain unless your tires are completely shot or you drive like an idiot. I also stated in my earlier post that I remember reading about ford correcting the oversteer problem in the 92-93 cars so maybe the earlier foxes really did have that problem.![]()
My 89 LX has 196k miles on it and it runs strong no smoke no engine noise and it has plenty of power when i step on it.It was abused by previous owners to they even broke the drives seat power shifting ../sigh. I only paid $2000.00 for it tho.And i totally agree with the Fox's rear end kicking out easily in wet conditions- but once i realised it can do that its easy to avoid.Just gotta be a lil careful at intersections-turns.Its got brand new 225/60/R15's on stock magnesium 10 slot LX wheels.Soon to have some 17's Cobra's !!

anything is dangerous in any weather if you drive like an assclown so long as you are cool behind the wheel you lower your chances of wrecking. Accidents always happen though which why they are called accidents and not intentionals. You tube is good for people wrecking by doing stupid things.
