95 plus 8k? yeah its worth it....

gain 8k and a 95...sell the 95 and then use the 8k plus the sale money to get a mach1

unless he gets the 8k who gets the 8k

lol I think he meant $800 not $8000 haha. I would test drive it see if its in good working order, take a look under the hood, see how you like the car. 105,000 miles is pushin it, but a cobra is nice.

Thats a tough call. Your car is 6 years newer, a vert, and has 30k less miles.

Are they both equal other wise...say both 5-speeds?, leather?, mach 460 sound system? How about the paint condition? Id have to really check that car over.

I'd probably offer him your car plus $2000

NADA for the 95 cobra is like $ 6-7K clean
NADA for your 01 vert clean is $10k

You have some MM bits on your car? What do you have on there? Also you list full suspension on his is it MM? Also full fuel system on a stockish 5.0? What does he have other then a 255 pump and maybe injectors?

I wouldn't do it even for 5 grand boot. Your car is a 4v with a nice suspension under it. His is honestly a nice car I would say, but not what yours is.

I wouldn't do it. Now, if it WAS $8,000 than I'd think about it

Are you saying that you have to pay 800 and sell, or that he has to pay 800?

Either way, trading for the older higher mileage car doesnt make any sense.

fact is if its an investment and you want to buy something newer in 2 or 3 years anyway. I would trade your car in the Midwest at least is worth 7-8k if its a stick. that cobra is probably in the same area. but in 3 years the cobra probably wont slip much but your gt will be worth 4-5K

You make out better

no way. that car is weaker than yours and has a limited potential compared to what your car could be.

both cars sound pretty much stock so mods dont play a big role either
