5.4 swap with kenne bell?

A friend of mine is getting a Stang sometime in June. He's looking at a new edge GT or possibly a Cobra if its cheap enough. But anyways if he gets the GT he wants to do the 5.4 swap and build that motor and make it a N/A / nitrous beast..lol.

Recently he has been thinking about doing the swap and throwing a kenne bell on it. So he wanted me to ask though if you use the intake adapter plates will it be possible to run the kenne bell?

I don't know about the adapter plates, but he would need like a 3 foot cowl hood if he could work the rest of it out.

Lofty goals, but I think you're in over your head with this one. That's about a $15,000 project you've got in mind....you do realize that, right?

Yeah it is, but it would make a good project...lol

If he really wants to do the swap we'll probably just leave it N/A and throw some nitrous on it for the time being.

I remember seeing a GT with a lightning engine in it for sale a few months ago. I think it was on SVTP so that would kinda give him an idea about hood clearance.
